Repetition is the most basic principle that structures our lives; waking up, going to work, eating, and sleeping are daily routines that are essential to life.  To me, all tangible and intangible matter is composed of repetitive elements.  As an artist, I try to visualize this invisible concept by using geometric motifs.

My world is composed of personal and valuable events.  Art, to me, is a vehicle to capture these events and give them visual forms.  Each event is broken down, analyzed and re-shaped with the geometric structure that I imagine.  Using various processes and techniques in ceramics, I give individualized characteristics to each piece.  The process and result of my artwork becomes a record of my life, a moment to remember.
